Subtlememe is an online store that specialises in subtle meme clothing and accessories – minimal hoodies, sweatshirts, tees and extras that reference an obscure meme or pop‑culture idea. The point is that some people will get it, but most won’t

Subtlememe releases designs and products in batches, we call them Seasons. Seasons have a predetermined length, and the designs offered will generally only be available for that set period.

Popular designs will make regular comebacks, however.

We take quality seriously because we want every Subtlememe piece to feel as good as it looks - and to hold up to real life while staying subtle and wearable. We use premium, eco-conscious fabrics whenever possible - most of our porducts are 100% percent cotton.

We generally use high density & weight cotton for our clothing, for a heavyweight premium feel. This is indicated on each product.

We are not fans of wearing plastic, and that means you get quality cotton garments that are comfortable and durable.

We use different types of HQ printing at Subtlememe:

• DTG - Directly printed to the fabric of the garment
• Matte - This is a HQ matte film that is printed onto the garment - premium feel & durable
• Special Film prints - Certain designs will have a special effect to the prints, this is dependent on the garment and could be flock printing, glow in the dark, light reflection etc. This will be indicated in the product description.

Prints are applied with advanced techniques for sharp, vibrant details that integrate smoothly into the fabric - no cracking or fading with proper care (wash inside-out cold, low dry, no bleach). Garments are pre-washed to test durability. We review every design and sample to ensure what you get matches the subtle vibe you see online.

Outside of specific Men/Women sizes, our unisex styles are designed for a relaxed, versatile fit that’s true to size for most people. Check the detailed sizing charts on each product page (measurements in inches for chest width, body length, and sleeve length) to find your perfect match - we recommend comparing to a favorite garment you already own. Also check the "Stats" section for more detail. Note that our organic cotton blends are usually pre-shrunk.

Currently, we ship products worldwide excluding some locations.
